Why do I need a wedding planner?
Having a Wedding Planner helps to make the process enjoyable and stress free. I can help with the organisational side of things, the creative design side, the admin, or all of the above. I can take ownership of the jobs you’d rather not do and guide you through every step of the planning process. You’ll probably be planning for at least a year, I think it’s important that you’re not overwhelmed the entire time. Even better, imagine actually having fun planning your wedding! The focus becomes the ‘big day’ and it’s so easy to overlook what the experience of planning your wedding together.
What will working with a planner entail?
I’ll start by getting to know you as a couple. Taking the time to find out your likes and dislikes, your personality and passions, to get a feel of what's your style.
Depending on which service you opt for, I begin with finding your perfect venue. Manor house, at home, or in the country, a shortlist of the venues are put together based on what suits you.
Once the venue is confirmed, moodboards are created and an Idea's book is put together containing all the things unique to you. From colour palettes to décor and styling, using this to create a brief which can be shown to suppliers.
Approaching the big day, I’ll be creating schedules, timelines, liaising with the suppliers and keeping the plan on track. On the day, I'll manage everything: from set up to co-ordinating suppliers, ensuring everything runs smoothly and comes together to create the vision you had in mind.
What happens on the wedding day?
Sit back, relax and be pampered. This is the day!
Everything that was agreed will be taken care of by myself - organising the set up, ensuring all the details are in the correct place, and making sure everything runs to schedule.
Co-ordinating suppliers, answering questions, ensuring guests are in the right place, helping the photographer with organising photos.....I’ll be there to help facilitate it.
